Introduction

Guys in these recent years the labor market has dramatically changed : increased competition between workers, globalization decrease of purchasing power of the working class, lay offs by thousands, difficulty to find a new job. In this article we will focus on what it is to be in the labor market as someone with some experience in the market but facing the harsh reality. So what is the harsh reality ?

The harsh reality

I have tried different ways of working : internal, external, consultant. And I have a conclusion : if you have what is considered as bad looks, no matter what you do in the company, you will get fired, no matter how skilled you are, you will be thrown over the bus but the Stacey will last. This is terrible as we understand that the blackpill not only applies to relationship but to workplace also. And the conclusion is terrible : In 2026 even if you are skilled this is not enough as competition is everywhere and there is no secure position as a worker

The largest job cuts in our history

According to CNBC , Amazon has cut 14 000 jobs in 2025 and Microsoft did more with 15 000 job cuts in 2025, among them we guess, a lot of developers, product owners etc... Imagine going from USD 100K per year to 0, it is totally insane. And what is going on in the United States is coming to the rest of the world as everything is globalized nowadays. Imagine working at Microsoft for more than 20 years, but being fired after just because women and AI took over your job, this is beyond insanity. And what I am experiencing now makes a lot of sense when put in perspective with what is occurring in America. We have to wake up guys, easy times are gone, times where you could work for a couple of years and then be able to afford a house, a car with a pet, eventually a wife, everything is gone and my opinion is that we are going through the most serious economic crysis of the century, even bigger than what occurred in 2008. Indeed these are not companies that are laying off some personal, these are companies that are laying off thousands of their employees, and maybe more as they might not count the external workers.

What to do then

Guys, it is not only a dating crisis where women are not affordable anymore, it is the whole economy that is collapsing in front of our eyes, each day you need to be better : better looking, better skilled, but is that possible on the long term ? Housing became insanely expensive, having a car is a luxury and I see it with my own eyes, everything seems calm but it is a very big issue : if companies are not willing anymore to hire people, then these same people will not be able to have any significant purchasing power, resulting eventually in the bankruptcy of these same companies

The boomerang effect

We think that this is totally unavoidable : companies like Apple, Amazon, Microsoft are now full of liquidity with no debt. What will likely occur is that these companies will fire everyone they can, that is to say everyone who is not vital to the current existence of the company and begin to enter in "easy mode", which means that the companies will look more to invest : invest in real estate, invest in stocks but also invest in obligations. And we think that all of these big tech companies will likely prefer to invest in obligations (debt given to other corporations and states) to states, because if companies lay off everyone they will not be productive as they were even if AI came into the market, it is something intrinsic with the human nature : A CEO doesn't want to talk to a robot. So companies, instead of investing into other companies, will decide to invest in obligations to other states, these states, in order to attract such big companies will try to raise their taxation level on their population so that they can find someone willing to take the obligation they will emit on the market. But here is the problem : if no one works, no one is taxable, so companies will not be able to invest anywhere : if they go to real estate they will find no tenants : physical persons will be on bankruptcy and small companies don't have cash enough to even pay for offices, especially nowadays where you can control a whole company from home, all you need is a decent laptop and a good internet connection

What is occurring in Iran

What is occurring in Iran is nothing more than an economical crisis : people are finding no jobs and no opportunities, prices are rising but we forget to say that in America and Europe, prices are also sky rocketting and jobs are becoming scarce contrary to the beginning of the century where there were plenty of jobs, easy jobs that would require from you some commitment at the beginning but then allow you to buy a house and have a family, so the problem in Iran is part of a more global problem and this is why we are going to more wars : Ukraine, Venezuela, Middle-East and this is we believe, unavoidable
